Building on the telepathic interplay of its predecessors, 'Ghosted III' finds the trio evolving their sound into looser and more adventurous territory, a result of extensive live performance. The album's foundation remains Johan Berthling's hypnotic bass ostinatos and Andreas Werliin's intricate, motorik-influenced percussion, which provide a compelling canvas for Oren Ambarchi’s textural guitar explorations and shimmering, effects-laden melodicism. Expanding their fusion of minimalist jazz and ambient krautrock, the sessions introduce touches of North African funk and dynamic post-rock builds, all captured with an immediate production quality that emphasizes the trio's spontaneous synergy.
