Album Notes & Community Reviews
This remarkable split release unites David Jackman's impenetrable drone project with the foundational free-jazz percussionist Eddie Pr茅vost. 'Crux / Flayed' presents stark contrasts, pairing Organum's monolithic, sustained acoustic friction with Pr茅vost's highly textured, metallic percussive improvisations. The recording is a masterful demonstration of British avant-garde acoustic manipulation.
