Album Notes & Community Reviews

John Kander and Fred Ebb's vaudeville score is performed by Gwen Verdon as Roxie Hart, Chita Rivera as Velma Kelly and Jerry Orbach as Billy Flynn in Bob Fosse's production. 'All That Jazz' and the 'Cell Block Tango' anchor a recording that outlived the show's initially modest reception to become a standard.
