Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Company' preserves Stephen Sondheim's score, with book by George Furth and orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, in the performances of Dean Jones as Bobby, Elaine Stritch, Barbara Barrie and Donna McKechnie, produced by Thomas Z. Shepard and recorded at Columbia's 30th Street studio in New York. Jones left the production shortly after its Broadway opening, making the album the only full record of his Bobby, and it spent two weeks at number 178 on the Billboard 200.
