Made for the orchestra's sixtieth anniversary, 'La Charanga Eterna' revisits 'El Paso de Encarnaci贸n' and the classics 'Siboney' and 'Bruca Manigu谩', with Omara Portuondo among the guests. It was later nominated for the Latin Grammy for Best Traditional Tropical Album, sealing the comeback that the Buena Vista era had begun for the charanga.
