Album Notes & Community Reviews
On her second album, otay:onii delves deeper into her heritage, creating a dense and anxious fusion of experimental electronics and traditional Chinese folk influences. '鍐ュ啣 M铆ng M铆ng' is a surreal and abstract journey, juxtaposing harsh, mechanical post-industrial sounds with haunting melodies and lyrics sung in both Mandarin and English. The result is a mysterious and deeply atmospheric work that explores themes of duality and the subconscious.
