Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released posthumously, this electrifying 1966 Los Angeles club performance captures Redding delivering incredibly raw, sweat-drenched soul workouts, completely captivating a predominantly white rock audience. The feverish energy of the set helped bridge the cultural gap between Southern R&B and the burgeoning counterculture movement.
