Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued posthumously from the wealth of material recorded shortly before his tragic death, this collection serves as a vibrant testament to the soul legend's enduring power. Backed impeccably by Booker T. & the M.G.'s, the record leans heavily into up-tempo, rhythmically driving numbers that contrast with the mournful tone of his previous posthumous releases.
