Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded at the Jazz em Agosto festival, this set showcases Otomo Yoshihide's ensemble brilliantly navigating the intersection of free jazz, noise, and contemporary avant-garde exploration. The quintet masterfully balances moments of hushed, suspenseful tension with explosive, chaotic eruptions, driven heavily by Yoshihide's erratic guitar work.
