Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Baltimore during the pandemic lockdowns, the Malian superstar delivers a profoundly uplifting and rhythmically vibrant expression of Wassoulou music. The acoustic-driven production is stripped back, allowing her powerful, soaring vocals to blend seamlessly with delicate desert blues guitar work and traditional West African instrumentation.
