Album Notes & Community Reviews

Strongly influenced by Ray Kurzweil's book 'The Age of Spiritual Machines', the Canadian alt-rock group delivered an ambitious conceptual record concerning artificial intelligence and transhumanism. The album intersperses heavy post-grunge anthems with spoken-word interludes narrated by Kurzweil himself. It marks a significant artistic pivot toward art-rock complexities before their subsequent shift to more straightforward commercial fare.
