Album Notes & Community Reviews

Entering their fourth decade as stalwarts of the East Coast thrash scene, Overkill delivers a remarkably energetic and technically proficient set on their twentieth studio album. 'Scorched' was heavily influenced by the global isolation of the pandemic, translating that frustration into aggressive, rebellious heavy metal arrangements. Frontman Bobby 'Blitz' Ellsworth's signature raspy vocals lead a chaotic yet highly melodic assault that remains true to their classic roots.
