Chill, Dummy

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first solo album in five years from the Minneapolis rapper and Doomtree founding member arrives following a successful kidney transplant operation. The production is incredibly dense and abrasive, heavily utilizing distorted industrial synthesizer textures, aggressive noise-punk samples, and chaotic drum programming. The lyricism provides a furious, politically charged critique of modern society while confronting profound personal anxieties regarding mortality.
