Album Notes & Community Reviews

The remarkably ambitious debut album from Daniel Gildenl枚w's Swedish ensemble immediately established them as an intensely cerebral force in progressive metal. Weaving complex time signatures and jazz-inflected tangents around a dense narrative concept concerning war and societal breakdown, the record showcased a highly emotional, non-traditional approach to the genre.
