Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written in the direct aftermath of frontman Daniel Gildenlöw's near-fatal battle with a flesh-eating bacterial infection, the Swedish veterans deliver a harrowing, deeply emotional concept album. The record completely abandons the softer acoustic rock of their previous releases to return to complex, crushing progressive metal. It serves as an incredibly intense, cathartic meditation on mortality and survival.
