Road Salt One
by Pain of Salvation
Deliberately stepping back from their traditionally polished, complex progressive metal, the Swedish ensemble embraced a raw, vintage 1970s hard-rock aesthetic. Daniel Gildenlöw recorded the project using primarily analog equipment and vintage instruments, resulting in an incredibly intimate, blues-inflected, and highly polarizing chapter in the band's extensive discography.
