Album Notes & Community Reviews
Representing the final album with original vocalist Terry Glaze, this early, independent release captures the Texan band deeply entrenched in the theatrical glam metal style. However, 'I Am the Night' notably introduces significantly faster, more aggressive riffing from 'Diamond' Darrell Abbott, hinting heavily at the speed and thrash metal influences that would eventually define their groove-oriented reinvention. The record stands as a fascinating transitional artifact in the group's highly bifurcated history.
