Album Notes & Community Reviews

Embracing modern studio techniques, Papa Roach integrated prominent electronic programming and synthesizer elements into their standard alternative rock formula on 'The Connection'. Jacoby Shaddix's highly personal lyrics explore themes of aging, inner demons, and relationship struggles, resulting in one of the band's most introspective mainstream rock efforts.
