Album Notes & Community Reviews

Under his Paperclip People alias, Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig compiled a series of incredibly influential, forward-thinking 12-inch singles into a cohesive full-length. The remarkably warm, analog productions heavily utilize disco and funk samples woven flawlessly into driving, deeply atmospheric house and techno rhythms. It serves as a masterclass in sophisticated dance music, definitively bridging the gap between classic Detroit soul and futuristic club electronics.
