Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'This Is Why', Paramore embraces a tense, rhythmically complex post-punk sound driven by angular guitars and agitated percussion, with lyrics that tackle modern anxieties and societal frustrations. The critically acclaimed album represented a mature artistic evolution for the trio, moving away from their pop-punk origins and culminating in a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
