Album Notes & Community Reviews

Acting as the foundational debut for the fiercely anonymous South Korean artist, this purely instrumental project laid the groundwork for their explosive internet fame. The record relies on overwhelmingly dense layers of midi-programmed instrumentation and heavily distorted, shoegaze-indebted guitars. It successfully captures a deeply nostalgic, lo-fi aesthetic that perfectly bridges the gap between post-rock crescendos and Midwest emo melancholia.
