Content Nausea
by Parkay Quarts
Released under a slightly altered moniker because half of Parquet Courts were unavailable for the recording process, Andrew Savage and Austin Brown crafted this record rapidly on a four-track tape machine. The resulting sound is significantly looser, integrating drum machines, synthesizers, and spoken-word rants about digital-age anxiety and modern gentrification. It acts as a brilliant, cynical companion piece to their primary discography.
