Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their evolution from metalcore pioneers to stadium-filling heavy metal traditionalists, 'Darker Still' embraces grandeur and cinematic scope. The Australian quintet incorporates acoustic ballads, atmospheric choirs, and massive, groove-laden riffing that intentionally evokes 1990s metal giants. The record navigates dark psychological territory, resulting from intense internal band friction that nearly caused their dissolution prior to its release.
