Establishing his utterly unique, deeply nostalgic aesthetic, the French-Catalan composer constructed this album largely from toy instruments, cheap synthesizers, and miniature pianos. 'Sentimientos' bridges the repetitive rigor of American post-minimalism with the fragile, naive charm of avant-garde pop. It is a whimsical, deeply highly original artifact of the European experimental cassette underground.
