Album Notes & Community Reviews
Led by the formidable saxophonist Klaus Doldinger, the veteran German ensemble continued to deliver highly accessible, synthesizer-laced jazz-rock. 'Earthborn' heavily incorporates sleek, funk-inflected grooves and glossy production values, aligning closely with the commercial American fusion landscape of the era. The record is a quintessential example of the group's smooth, technically proficient later period.
