Album Notes & Community Reviews

Guitarist Pat Metheny composed and recorded this unique project utilizing a massive, custom-built robotic ensemble triggered entirely by his guitar and pedalboards. 'Orchestrion' updates late 19th-century mechanical music concepts to execute highly complex, densely layered modern jazz compositions without any accompanying human musicians.
