Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating distinctly outside his traditional Pat Metheny Group format, the guitar virtuoso enlisted a massive orchestra and global collaborators for this highly cinematic solo release. Inspired heavily by a personal romance, the expansive, Grammy-winning compositions weave Brazilian percussion and new-age textures into complex, deeply sentimental jazz fusion.
