Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the highly anticipated debut of the legendary Argentine underground collective, this album brilliantly fused blues-rock grit with the frantic, rhythmic edge of post-punk. 'Gulp!' introduces the deeply cryptic, poetic lyricism of Indio Solari, paired with Skay Beilinson's highly stylized, angular guitar work. Operating entirely independently outside of the major label system, the band laid the groundwork for an unprecedented, fanatic cult following.
