Wooden Arms

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The critically acclaimed third album from the Montreal-based ensemble is a breathtaking exhibition of cinematic, highly orchestrated chamber pop. Built around Watson's ethereal falsetto and complex piano arrangements, the recording prominently utilizes unconventional percussion, including bicycle wheels and wooden spoons. It is a profoundly inventive, atmospheric work that further established the group as masters of modern art-pop.
