Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning from a nearly decade-long hiatus dedicated to domestic life, the iconic poet and musician delivered a polished and deeply reflective collection. Co-written with her husband Fred 'Sonic' Smith, the songs exchange the raw punk energy of her youth for an anthemic, empowering accessibility. The soaring 'People Have the Power' endures as a quintessential modern anthem of social optimism.
