Album Notes & Community Reviews

Interpol frontman Paul Banks adopts an old alter ego for his solo debut, stepping away from his primary band's post-punk gloom to explore lighter, more eccentric art-pop textures. The record incorporates prominent acoustic guitars, string arrangements, and brass, offering a surprisingly warm and eclectic backdrop to his distinctive, baritone croon. The project allowed Banks to showcase an impressive versatility and a uniquely autumnal songwriting approach.
