Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Rome three years prior to its eventual issue, this stripped-down trio session captures the Canadian pianist navigating the delicate space between structured post-bop and free improvisation. The interaction with drummer Barry Altschul and bassist Mark Levinson showcases a distinctly sparse, intellectual approach to the avant-garde.
