Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his breathy, impossibly smooth alto saxophone tone without the presence of Dave Brubeck, this session highlights a relaxed, highly melodic approach to popular standards. Supported by the vocal group the Jud Conlon Singers on several tracks, the famously dry, vibrato-less aesthetic is framed in a highly accessible, slightly commercial pop context.
