Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released just as The Beatles were officially breaking up, Paul McCartney retreated to his home studio to record this incredibly intimate, deeply personal solo debut. Playing every instrument himself, 'McCartney' is wonderfully lo-fi and beautifully melodic, balancing surprisingly raw, unpolished rock sketches with incredibly warm, deeply romantic acoustic folk-pop.
