Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing a remarkably prolific late-career streak, the Modfather recorded his sixteenth solo album remotely during the pandemic lockdowns. 'Fat Pop' bounds energetically through a highly eclectic mix of styles, integrating heavy funk grooves, orchestral art-pop ballads, and 1960s R&B elements. It functions as a concise, effortlessly confident demonstration of Weller's enduring pop craftsmanship and stylistic versatility.
