Heliocentric

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The fifth solo studio outing from the former Jam and Style Council frontman finds him largely abandoning heavy guitar rock in favor of lush, pastoral arrangements. 'Heliocentric' incorporates extensive string orchestration and subtle acoustic textures to support its blue-eyed soul influences. The songwriting is notably introspective, signaling a mellowing refinement in the Modfather's extensive catalog.
