Album Notes & Community Reviews

Refusing to settle into the complacency of elder-statesman status, 'The Modfather' continues the streak of adventurous experimentation seen on his previous record. Co-produced with Simon Dine, the album aggressively incorporates dub rhythms, swirling psychedelia, and jagged electronic textures into his established guitar-pop framework. It stands as a surprisingly urgent, eclectic effort that prominently features guest appearances from Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon.
