Fatherfucker

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Merrill Nisker continues her provocative assault on gender norms and musical boundaries with her second full-length release. Relying on heavily distorted drum machines and primitive synthesizer riffs, the production provides a gritty, stripped-down backdrop for her sexually explicit, highly confrontational vocal delivery. The record solidified her reputation as a leading figure in the early 2000s electroclash movement.
