No Lube So Rude

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On her first album in over a decade, 'No Lube So Rude' finds Peaches expanding her sonic palette by blending her foundational electroclash and punk styles with industrial techno and hyperpop influences. The production, characterized by distorted synthesizers and raw electronic grooves, provides a confrontational backdrop for lyrics that continue to explore themes of sexuality, power, and bodily autonomy with explicit candor. The album balances its abrasive sonic assault with vulnerable and witty songwriting, reaffirming her status as a queer and feminist icon.
