Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by Ihsahn of Emperor and his wife Ihriel, Peccatum's debut explores highly complex, vastly experimental metal territories far removed from traditional black metal. 'Strangling From Within' heavily utilizes dense, gothic orchestration, prominent clean vocals, and deeply surreal, avant-garde progressive song structures.
