Album Notes & Community Reviews

Leading his Golden West Cowboys, Pee Wee King provides a masterclass in the heavily rhythmic, highly danceable style of western swing. The album blends country fiddles and steel guitars with the propulsive horn arrangements and improvisational energy of big band jazz. It is a vital document from the composer of 'Tennessee Waltz' operating at his commercial peak.
