Now, More Charm and More Tender
by Pee
The obscure San Francisco outfit crafted an incredibly unique, hyper-melodic fusion of complex math-rock time signatures and vulnerable, twee-pop sweetness. The intricate, interlocking guitar lines and bouncy rhythms starkly contrast the deeply emotional, bittersweet vocal delivery. Despite largely flying under the radar upon release, its highly technical but playful aesthetic heavily anticipated the late-90s midwest emo explosion.
