Album Notes & Community Reviews

Lee's first album opportunity after a decade of singles was cut across three spring sessions at 50 West 57th Street in New York with Pete Candoli on trumpet and Jimmy Rowles at the piano. Its title song, by Sonny Burke and Paul Francis Webster, earned a five-star review in DownBeat, and Joni Mitchell later named the record a favourite, opening her own 'Both Sides Now' with its 'You're My Thrill'.
