Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fusing her trademark cool vocal delivery with vibrant Afro-Cuban rhythms, the singer completely reinterprets a selection of Broadway show tunes. The robust, percussion-heavy arrangements by Jack Marshall contrast brilliantly with her understated, breathy phrasing, creating one of the most commercially and artistically successful crossover albums of the Latin craze.
