Album Notes & Community Reviews

Guided by the lush orchestrations of Billy May, the acclaimed vocalist delivers a deeply romantic and heavily string-laden collection of standards. The performances lean away from her typical swinging jazz accompaniment, prioritizing a soft, cinematic atmosphere designed for late-night listening. The session perfectly highlights her masterful breath control and subtle, smoky phrasing.
