Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Australasia' established the band as pioneers of instrumental post-metal, merging the crushing weight of sludge and doom with the sprawling, melodic crescendos of post-rock. The entirely vocal-less record creates a dense, hazy atmosphere built on massive, down-tuned guitar riffs and heavy rhythmic grooves.
