Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pelican's second album sees them embracing melody and major keys within their heavy instrumental sound. 'The Fire in Our Throats...' is expansive and hopeful, featuring acoustic guitars and post-rock dynamics. It is a warm, uplifting evolution of sludge metal.
