Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating entirely as an instrumental rock ensemble, Pell Mell crafts a highly evocative, cinematic journey across the American landscape with 'Interstate'. The album is driven heavily by tightly interlocking, angular guitar lines and motorik rhythms, evoking the relentless forward motion of highway travel. It stands as a pivotal, highly melodic entry in the mid-90s American post-rock movement, famously securing them a surprise major-label release.
