Album Notes & Community Reviews

David Thomas steers the legendary Cleveland avant-garde ensemble through a deeply idiosyncratic and geographically fixated concept album. 'Pennsylvania' eschews the polished pop sensibilities of their previous decade, returning to a murky, analog-driven sound characterized by eerie synthesizer noise, jagged rock structures, and Thomas's distinctively quirky vocal presence.
