Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reconvening after a period of inactivity, the legendary Ohio avant-garde ensemble returned with a surprisingly accessible yet fundamentally off-kilter effort. The musicians integrated a bouncier, more rhythmic sensibility while retaining their signature industrial-tinged clatter and David Thomas's unmistakable vocal warble. The project proved their capacity for reinvention while still operating far outside mainstream rock conventions.
